Mia George is the Program Manager, Vision and Strategy in the Office of the CAO at York Region. Mia is responsible for leading development and implementation activities of York Region's Vision Program and corresponding projects, including monitoring and reporting on Vision's community indicators to Council and its linkages with the Accountability Framework. Mia has worked in a variety of positions within York Region over the past decade, establishing its Digital Communications Program and serving as the Region’s COVID Communications Response Lead. Prior to joining the Region, Mia provided strategic support and guidance in several industries, including law enforcement, arts, and entertainment.
