Masterclass: Non-Profits Need to Win!
Date & Time
Monday, June 2, 2025, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Beth Jordan
Description

This masterclass will remind people of the importance of organizational culture, and creating/nurturing a culture that is rooted in values and purpose. A culture where people feel seen, heard, valued and engaged. A culture where everyone understands the role(s) they play in organizational strategy planning and execution in a not for profit environment. Together the attendees will explore and confirm how important strategic planning is for nonprofit organizations. A strong planning process and ultimately the plan it delivers has never been more essential. The participant will experience real examples of organizational journeys where agile strategy and adaptive planning and execution have been implemented with descriptions of supporting tools and activities. I will be exploring the importance of a well communicated strategy internally and providing examples of ones that worked well and ones that didn't. Highlighting opportunities and new ways of how to approach this critical step in Plan execution. We will end with the JEDI (justice, equity, diversity and inclusion) values of ecosystem engagement that undergird strong culture and build the support for the plan and resilience to pivot with transparency.

This session will be engaging, interactive, rooted in over 25 years of practice and know how. It will be timely and rooted in the issues of the day - it will be intersectional, feminist and inclusive - and it will be funny!
