Stacye Brim, PMP is a seasoned consultant who partners with mission-driven organizations in the areas of strategy and project management. With over 20 years of experience, she is passionate about helping organizations maximize their impact and realize their mission. Since 2014, Stacye has led her firm, STB Consulting, a certified Minority-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE) and Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) based in Atlanta, GA. Strategy services include partnering with organizations to both develop their organizational strategic plans and establish a structure and plan for effective strategy implementation. Project Management (PM) services include helping organizations and their teams strengthen their project delivery and enhance their PM capabilities via consulting and training offerings. Stacye also works with individual project leaders, helping them level up their PM skills through one-on-one coaching and mentoring via her Project Leadership Coaching program.
Stacye enjoys supporting clients across all sectors and is especially passionate about helping purpose-driven organizations. Clients touch a variety of impact areas such as legal advocacy, tech policy, youth workforce development, education, chronic disease, public health, animal welfare, and more. An abbreviated list of clients includes Legal Action Center, Washington Center for Technology Policy Inclusion, Bearings Bike Works, National GEM Consortium, Atlanta Public Schools, Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, Lewy Body Dementia Association, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and Sinergia Animal.
Prior to launching her consulting practice, Stacye worked in a number of roles which led to her varied and multi-disciplinary experience. An engineer-turned-consultant, her career began working as a research engineer in the semiconductor industry with Motorola. After shifting her career into Program Management and Strategy, she held senior level roles at both Atlanta Public Schools and Booz Allen Hamilton.
Stacye holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida and Georgia Tech, respectively. She also holds certifications in Project Management (PMP), Strategy (Kaplan-Noron BSC Graduate), Process Improvement (LSSGB), and Change Management (Prosci Certified Change Practitioner). Her engineering mindset and collaborative demeanor are both brought to the table when partnering with clients to help them solve their toughest challenges.
Stacye serves on the Board of Directors for the International Association for Strategy Professionals (IASP) and youth-development organization, Bearings Bike Works, which is based in Atlanta, GA.
