Allison Green

Allison Green has dedicated nearly two decades to working with individuals and families experiencing housing instability, driven by a deep commitment to ensuring that everyone in Michigan has a safe, stable place to call home.

Before joining MCAH, Allison held a wide range of roles within the Supportive Housing and Homeless Services Department at Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency—gaining a comprehensive, hands-on understanding of the systems and supports critical to addressing homelessness.

With a Master of Social Work in Community Practice and Social Action, Allison has consistently focused her career on training and capacity-building. She is passionate about equipping frontline service providers with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to succeed in their roles.

In her current role, Allison serves communities across the state, remaining attuned to their unique needs and fostering collaboration to ensure that homelessness in Michigan is rare, brief, and non-recurring.

Outside of work, Allison enjoys exploring the outdoors with her children and has a goal of visiting as many new places as possible.
