April McKeever is the Assistant Director of the YHSI grant at Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency. Prior to this role, April has spent most of the last decade working in a variety of capacities within the homeless response system, ranging from case management with Rapid Rehousing programs, compliance and quality improvement, systems-level work with the Out Wayne CoC, and program leadership. April has a passion for systems-level change and is driven by the belief that all people have a right to housing that is safe, affordable, and allows them to thrive. She holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from Columbia University. When she’s not working, she can be found gardening, playing pool, or hanging out with her three cats.
