TrueNorth Community Services

Lisa Reinecke
Lisa Reinecke is a licensed social worker and the Homeless Solutions Director at TrueNorth Community Services. She earned her Bachelor’s in Social Work and research analysis from Northern Michigan University, and later completed her Master’s in Nonprofit Leadership from Purdue University.

Lisa began her career as a Juvenile Probation Officer in Marquette, Michigan, but soon returned to her hometown, where a local nonprofit hired her. For the past 13 years, she has worked in the housing and homelessness field, starting as a Housing Case Manager, moving into supervision, and acting as the HMIS System Administrator for the West Michigan Housing Network. Today, she directs TrueNorth’s Housing and Homeless programs and remains committed to supporting
individuals experiencing homelessness.

Lisa believes in showing up for people and doing the work alongside them. She is often found outside the office, doing street outreach, building relationships, and advocating for those who do not always have a voice. She has devoted her entire
social work career to the same agency, committed to making a difference in the community she calls home and the surrounding counties.

Outside of work, Lisa is married to an Army veteran and is a proud mom of two. Her weekends are typically spent hiking with her family, behind a camera, or spending time on the family farm where she was born and raised. She also serves as the President of her local Lions Club, where she helps raise awareness for hearing loss, which is very close to her heart.
