Sheryl Trent is a Certified Master Facilitator™, Certified Virtual Facilitator® and is certified by Cornell University in Diversity and Inclusion. She has been facilitating strategic planning for results for over 30 years. Using facilitation as the foundation of her work, she has created results based strategic planning using the principles of collaborative teamwork, inclusive engagement, and consensus for thousands of clients across the United States. With a focus on plans that are actionable, adaptable, and customized, her work has been used in national magazines and won awards. She is a regular speaker nationally on issues related to strategic planning and inclusive community engagement and teaches online and in person courses on facilitation skills. She designed SBrand Solutions to “help fill in the blanks” for her clients: local governments, special districts, nonprofits, and other agencies. Sheryl is also recognized by her work with elected boards in the areas of team building, board development, and board training. She serves on the board of the International Institute for Facilitation, the world’s leading institution for facilitation research and innovative learning. She is a member of the Association for Strategic Planning, the International Association of Facilitators, the National Center for Deliberative Debate, the Colorado Municipal League, and the Colorado City/County Manager’s Association among other organizations.
