Carla Spradlin most recently served as a CARES Act Representative for HUD Region V and VII stationed out of the Detroit Field Office. Prior to coming to HUD in 2020 Carla served as the Grant Compliance and Program Coordinator for the Community and Home Improvement Division of Oakland County, Michigan. In her 24 years with the County she served as staff to the CDBG, HOME and ESG formula programs. Carla has additional experience with CDBG-DR, NSP1 and NSP3. She is a graduate of the urban and regional planning program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In her downtime Carla enjoys gardening, farmers markets and volunteering at her hometown movie theater.
