Kenyuana Jofferion-Hardnett, M.P.A., also referred to as Keni Hardnett, has over 10 years of experience in Diversity Equity and Inclusion programming and development. In the early stages of her career she served as both a Diversity Chairperson and Diversity Programming Director at The University of Akron in Ohio. She later moved to Michigian and became a local executive board member for her chapter of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. Kenyuana is now a program manager at Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency, where she co-manages a city-wide program focused on finding rental assistance, housing opportunities and / or shelter placement options for persons who are displaced or in danger of being displaced within the city of Detroit or outer Wayne county. Kenyuana also functions as a representative on the agency's Diversity Equity and Inclusion committee since January of 2022, as well as on the advocacy subcommittee. Finally, Kenyuana worked on the Persons of Lived Experiences in Homeless Committee, and also on the COC Equity Results committee for the better part of the last year. With her community and diversity endeavors, Keni ultimately hopes to work to impact her local area by way of combating homeless and diversity relations within the locality.
