John Lindley became President & CEO of the Michigan Manufactured Housing Association of Michigan on October 4, 2021, where he leads the 80-year-old organization headquartered in Okemos, Michigan.
John joined the Association after a nearly nine years as a lobbyist with Public Affairs Associates (PAA), Lansing’s most respected and effective government relations consulting firm. During his time at PAA, John earned an exemplary reputation among clients and policymakers as a highly motivated, service-minded professional with a skillful blend of entrepreneurial drive, visionary leadership, and administrative expertise. John honed his skills and developed his auditor-type approach through a successful tenure of nearly 12 years as head of government and regulatory affairs for the 18,000-member Michigan Association of CPAs (MICPA).
A native of mid-Michigan, John and his wife Ann Marie are both avid Spartans and live in Holt with their daughter, Abby. John spends as much time as possible on his boat or with his family and friends enjoying Michigan’s beautiful outdoor campgrounds and wilderness and exploring her magnificent inland lakes and beaches.
John graduated from James Madison College at Michigan State University and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organizational Management at the University of Wisconsin.
