For Peat's Sake! The current and future use of peat moss in the horticulture industry is a topic of great interest and discussion in recent years. This presentation will provide some facts surrounding peat harvesting and sustainability, peat supplies and availability, as well as the motives of the "peat free" initiatives we see progressing around the globe. We will also discuss the latest research and industry developments in non-peat growing media and highlight the challenges and opportunities associated with these materials.
