Building Community and Increasing Teacher Retention through Supportive Leadership
Description

Recent national data indicate continued declines in both entry into and retention within the teaching profession (Pew Research Center, 2024). This trend reflects the importance of leadership practices that strengthen relational trust, shared purpose, and care for teachers within faith-based schools. In this interactive session, participants will examine research-informed approaches administrators can use to build a strong sense of community and provide supportive leadership that encourages long-term commitment among teachers and staff.
