Name
Improving teacher satisfaction through school-wide Executive Function skill development
Description
What if strengthening students’ Executive Function skills could also make teaching more manageable?
When students struggle with attention, organization, emotional regulation, task initiation, and follow-through, teachers often carry the extra load - repeating directions, redirecting behavior, tracking missing work, helping students get started, and managing classroom disruptions. Over time, these everyday demands can contribute to teacher stress and burnout.
This interactive workshop explores how a schoolwide approach to Executive Function skill development can reduce classroom friction, strengthen student independence, and create classrooms where both students and teachers can thrive.
