Description

1. Diagnosing Initiative Fatigue Participants begin by mapping the initiatives currently operating in their schools and analyzing where fragmentation occurs. Using a systems-thinking protocol, participants identify: Overlapping initiatives Competing prioritie Unclear ownership Gaps between vision and practice This process helps leaders recognize how well-intentioned programs can unintentionally undermine one another when not aligned within a shared framework. 2. Designing a Coherent Instructional Ecosystem Participants explore a schoolwide coherence model built around six aligned pillars: Graduate Profile & Vision — Defining the learner we aim to develop Power Standards & Curriculum  — Clarifying what matters most Assessment Design � Measuring what we value Instructional Frameworks � Defining high-quality learning experiences Professional Learning � Building teacher capacity Intervention & Support Systems � Ensuring every student succeeds 3. Leading Sustainable Instructional Change Participants learn how to build leadership structures that sustain the work, including: Department-driven instructional leadership Teacher redesign teams Instructional coaching cycles Data-informed improvement loops
