We will dive into more than three dozen picture books to grow as leaders and tie each of them to a scripture verse as we learn how to use these texts to help us instill essential traits/skills in those we serve. (We are never too old to grab a few nuggets of wisdom from storybooks.) There will be a few classics of children's literature you'll recognize, but quite a few new ones to add to your Amazon wish lists. At the very least, you'll come away with some great ideas for chapel, youth group, Sunday school, future children's messages, or must-read stories to your kids/grandkids. And feel free to bring along a few of your own titles to share with the group!
