Explore how Integrated Performance Assessments (IPAs) can bring authentic and meaningful language use into Language Immersion and World Language classrooms. Teachers will learn to design IPA tasks that integrate interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational communication while connecting to grade-level content. Participants will leave with practical strategies and examples they can adapt for their own classrooms and will also consider a unit in which to apply this assessment practice. (Examples in Spanish but can be modified for other language learning contexts.)
