Dr. Heping Zhu is an Agricultural Engineer and Lead Scientist with USDA/ARS Application Technology Research Unit in Wooster, Ohio. He is also an Adjunct Professor at The Ohio State University. He has more than 30 years of academic research and industrial experience in development of innovative methodologies and mechanisms including intelligent spray technologies to enhance the science of pest-control agent applications for protecting crops while conforming to stringent environmental mandates. He has published over 250 papers including 144 peer-reviewed journal articles. He received seventeen U.S. regional and national awards.
