Cpt. Jamie Kopco Ph.D. BCE studied entomology at Cornell University and at North Dakota State University, to build a theoretical understanding of insect ecology and pest management. His work experience managing pests in hydroponic greenhouses in Walt Disney World, serving as technical director for Guardian Pest Solutions, and serving as a medical entomologist in the US Army Reserves give him hands-on experience with pesticide application and pest management. Jamie's experience, both working with insect ecology and with pest management, put him in an ideal position to discuss the balance of pesticide application to protect against pests with protecting our environment.
