Dr. Fleischer is on the faculty of the Department of Entomology at The Pennsylvania State University where he specializes in population dynamics of insects. He has worked in vegetable agroecosystems for 30 years. He previously was a Research Scientist at Virginia Tech and Research Associate at Auburn University. He received his B.S. in Biology from St. Mary's College of Maryland, his M.S. in Entomology from Virginia Tech and his Ph.D. in Entomology from Auburn. A native of Washington, D.C., he and his wife Barbara have two daughters and four grandchildren.
