It is possible to find ourselves and our workplaces in emotionally charged interactions or potentially violent situations. Though such situations can arise unexpectedly, we can train and prepare for them to achieve the best possible outcome. De-Escalation training is designed to improve participants� understanding of inter-personal communication. It specifically addresses the ability to reduce the intensity of a conflict or a potentially violent situation by understanding both verbal and nonverbal communication strategies.
