Many forces at work in education and in the culture surrounding the hallowed ground of childhood development are wiring children for addiction and nervous system dysfunction rather than secure attachment. Chronic nervous system dysfunction in children and teenagers is leading to an unprecedented mental health crisis and poor outcomes in learning.
