Description
This session will show the synergy of interpersonal neurobiology (IPNB) and virtue education. Dr. Dan Siegel identified four qualities that must be nurtured for a child to be open, receptive and engaged with their learning environment in a way that supports their development and maturation. These four qualities - balance, resilience, insight and empathy correspond to the four cardinal virtues of temperance, fortitude, prudence and justice. This session will draw from IPNB and show how living virtue is a means raising a generation of youth who possess strength of virtue and character. This is a path to human flourishing and secure attachment.
