"The Teen Star program seeks to help students in their development through a holistic view of human sexuality that takes into account the whole person, that is: the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual aspects, according to the needs and concerns of this stage of development."(Teen Star Instructor Manual: Middle School Program) This session will examine how the Teen Star Curriculum was implemented to a class of 8th grade students by exploring how the school fit the program into the current teaching schedule, the ways in which they communicate with parents, a few teaching techniques used to engage the learners, and how some of the difficult questions are handled.
