Description
This session contains an overview of grant writing, from finding grants to writing and submitting proposals, as well as what to do when a recipient of a grant. Attendees will be exposed to local, state, and national grant offerings. Together, we will examine common expectations of grants, and how language varies from grant to grant. Best writing practices that will give grant writers ideas of how to write quicker, more efficient grants (and take the stress out of grant writing). Finally, what to do when you receive a grant, including documenting results, final reports, and thank you letters.
