Description

Collaboration, problem-solving, leadership skills, independent thinking, and the development of mature, artistic musicianship skills are at the core of our work. Session will explore a variety of ways we vertically align our curriculums and philosophies between middle and high school instrumental programs as we work towards these goals.

Showcase possible projects and applications for middle and high school programs to collaborate.

Discuss challenges we have faced and how our curriculums have evolved over time to encourage vertical interactions.

Provide ideas for middle school and high school directors to apply and explore in their own programs that encourage students to apply their musicianship skills more independently.
