Rebecca DeWan is a Ph.D. student in music education at Michigan State University. Previously, she taught music in Maine for thirteen years. At conferences across the country, she has presented on topics such as trauma and identity development, transgender singers in the choral classroom, and contemporary a cappella. She is committed to building community through music.
