Kim Fleming is currently pursuing a DMA in Conducting at the University of Michigan where she is a Graduate Student Instructor assisting with the Michigan Athletic Bands and undergraduate courses in conducting. Prior to Michigan, Ms. Fleming was a middle school and high school band director in Illinois and New Jersey. In addition to teaching, Ms. Fleming has directed community bands, presented at statewide music education conferences, and frequently adjudicates at Concert Band and Solo & Ensemble festivals. Ms. Fleming attended Northwestern University where she received her master’s degree in Wind Conducting, and she earned her bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Ithaca College.
