Margaret Winchell is a music educator and choral conductor. Originally from Houston, Texas, Margaret has taught high school in Illinois for five years and is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Choral Conducting at Western Michigan University under the mentorship of Kimberly Dunn Adams. Outside of the music classroom, Margaret has worked as a teaching artist at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago. In her teaching and conducting, Margaret strives to empower students as artists and individuals and facilitate interdisciplinary connections, especially between music and theater.
