Mpact Transit + Community Conference 2024

The Call for Speakers is open until Friday, March 29, midnight Hawaii time. 

For information and context, review the Call for Speakers Information Packet, then submit your final proposal at the submission link below. Worksheets to help prepare your proposal are available at https://www.mpactmobility.org/conference/speakers/.   

There are two ways to submit:  

1. Submit an Individual Proposal to be considered as a speaker with others on a session curated by our National Steering Committee. 

2. Submit a Group Proposal that meets our diversity of perspectives criteria to be considered for a conference session. Note: The group proposal will take significant time to organize and require you to connect with potential speakers in advance. 

After gathering the information needed, expect to spend 30-60 minutes to complete the submission form. This year, we are asking you to choose which of 6 questions your proposal most addresses. See the Information Packet (link above). A confirmation with the details of your submission will be emailed to you upon completion. Incomplete proposals, including group proposals that do not have additional speakers listed, will not be considered. All proposals are due by Friday, March 29 at 11:59pm HST (Hawaii Standard Time). 

We recommend you create a password during your submission. This will allow you to make edits to your proposal until the submission deadline of March 29. To log back into your account, click "Sign In" in the upper right corner of this page. You are not limited to one type of submission. Use your account to make edits and track additional submissions.

Your proposal is an indication that you are willing and able to be in person in Philadelphia October 20-23, 2024, for the conference. Speakers can attend for free for the day they are speaking (the session schedule will be available in August) or will need to pay the full rate to attend the entire conference.  Hotel rates at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown are $259 plus tax per night until September 27 or until the block is full. Scholarships are available (as funds allow) to community organizations and non-profits. Please plan accordingly.

Note: We do not have virtual speaker opportunities at this time. Speakers will be expected to participate in person.
