Regional day programming provides an opportunity for local stakeholders to delve into issues that specifically affect them.
Larger than half the states in the U.S., the greater Phoenix region also has some of the most unique, environmentally and culturally sensitive geography in the country. It’s a diverse metropolis, with sometimes competing local priorities. A deliberative, consensus-based approach to planning and development has yielded robust investment in infrastructure over the last four decades. But now the region is at a crossroads.
How do we tell our story, articulate our past, fashion our future and build on the momentum that brought us this far?
Take MOMENTUM as a starting point. It is the long-range transportation plan developed over the past three years by the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG). Hear from local experts, learn from those in the trenches and listen to visionaries. Help move toward the type of communities we want for ourselves and for future generations.
