Infrastructure projects are always complex. And yet they happen within a fairly formulaic structure and sequence. How does this work when projects traverse and are meant to serve Native American communities and reservations? All too often, processes can neglect the sovereignty, cultural traditions, treaty rights and values of Tribes. Learn ways to work with Tribes that facilitate respectful and meaningful dialogue with Tribal governments and that are outside the typical role as stakeholder.
