I am working in the Transit industry for more than 18 years and currently serves as the Director of Service Planning & Scheduling at VIA Metropolitan Transit, San Antonio, Texas. My work focuses on transit planning and data analysis, transportation research, developing innovative transit solutions, route planning and Mobility on Demand analysis, and managing the System Redesign - Better Bus Plan, which is part of Keep San Antonio Moving plan.
During the last 18 years, I have worked on several long-range and short-range service plans, corridor studies, several infrastructure and capital projects, Rapid Bus project and completed three successful system redesigns. I listen to customer requests and work collaboratively with different stakeholders and communities to solve complex transit challenges. I am visionary and lead by example and teach GIS & Land Suitability class as a guest lecturer at UT Arlington for the last sixteen years. I served as a TCRP Ambassador for four years from 2012 - 2015 and was recently appointed to the Transit Cooperative Research Program oversight panel for the TCRP Project- New Transit Service Delivery to Drive Ridership Growth
