A seasoned community and economic developer with 30 years of experience working in distressed communities and urban centers. Twila has been recognized as a thought leader in designing system change frameworks that address complex social dilemmas. She is the founder of the Pottstown Area Social Innovations Lab and currently leads community and economic development initiatives for The Hill School, including Hobart’s Run Neighborhood District. She also serves as a consultant across various fields, including non-profit management, organizational leadership, curriculum development, social impact startups, immigration advocacy, Spanish translation, grant writing, and policymaking.
Previously, Twila worked for the City of Reading, PA, in the Department of Community Development. She holds a B.A. from Columbia University, an M.P.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an MSc in Cities from the London School of Economics.
