As a Principal at Arcadis, Ana-Francisca has built an extensive portfolio focused on Transit projects and Transit Oriented Development (TOD) in Canada, UK, Latin America and the Middle East. She has been responsible for the successful design and execution of transit facilities that include subway, heavy rail, LRT, BRT, cable cars and ancillary facilities. Her work is characterized by its innovative, high-quality architectural design with a deep commitment to making healthy places that are accessible and inclusive. Her experience spans all project phases, from Conceptual to Construction documents and various forms of project delivery.  She deeply understands best practices for transit and the application of transit agencies and industry standards on to architectural design. 
She is currently the Chair of the Toronto Society of Architects and Board Director of 880 Cities Organization. She is an inducted Fellow of the Royal Architecture Institute of Canada (RAIC), Member of the National Academy of Architecture of Mexico (AN-ANA) and selected as a Champion of ULI's Women Leadership Initiative. 
As a subject expert in transit and interdisciplinary collaborations, she is often invited to speak at conferences, podcasts and lead visioning workshops in Canada, USA and Latin America.
