Frank Ponciano is a seasoned community organizer who has been dedicated to empowering Bay Area communities of color since his arrival to the Bay Area in 2015. A former advertising and media industry professional, Frank transitioned into community organizing to address social justice and equity issues in marginalized communities.

During his tenure as a policy specialist for a San José Councilmember, Frank gained expertise in various policy areas such as housing and homelessness, public safety, and environmental policy. Furthermore, he recognized the critical role transportation plays in driving progress and its intersectional impact on communities.

Frank Ponciano is an engaging presenter who has spoken at multiple local and statewide transportation-related events in California. He is an ardent advocate for equity in public participation and brings his passion for community engagement to his current Associate Director role at Winter Consulting. As a valuable member of the firm's team, Frank leverages his extensive community engagement experience and a wide network of Bay Area relationships to manage key projects and support the firm's focus on equity in all their work.
