Deputy Mayor of the city of Toulouse.
Member of the Board of the Public Transport Local Authority of the Toulouse Metropolitan Area (Tisseo).
Former student of the Ecole Polytechnique France and ENSTA Paris Tech, I began my career at the SNCF (French Railway Company) in which I held railway operating functions.
I joined the Danone group in 1983, as Organization Director. Then, in 1988, I became Managing Director of the SEMVAT (Public Transport operating company) in Toulouse. I led the launching of the 1St automatic metro line in 1993.
I joined the Veolia Transport group in 2002. I began as Director of the Atlantic region and became successively Director of the Ile-de-France region and Chief Exécutive Officer for France in 2008, 35,000 employees and 2 billion Euros revenue.
In 2011, I was designated as Deputy Managing Director of new group Transdev, after the merge of Veolia transport and Transdev.
In 2014, I became Deputy Mayor of the city of Toulouse. He also took the Presidency of the Tisseo Ingenierie and became member of the Board of the Public Transport Local Authority of the Toulouse Metropolitan Area (Tisseo).
As President of Tisseo Ingenierie I led the studies of the 3rd automatic metro line, and succesfully led the project of the new urban cable car, Teleo, opened in 2022.
Throughout the years, I developed a deep knowledge of public transportation matters, whether train, subway, bike, ride sharing, bus, and cable cars through major projects such as (but not limited to) Créteil and Grenoble.
