Alisha Garrett is the Chief Enterprise Strategy Officer at the Utah Transit Authority (UTA), where she leads strategy deployment and drives organizational excellence by aligning people, processes, technology, leadership, and strategic priorities. She is dedicated to cascading and connecting people with purpose, ensuring strategic integration across UTA. Her diverse background spans retail, finance, hospitality, logistics, transportation, and transit. She focuses on fostering employee- and customer-centric strategies. She holds a bachelor's degree in international business and an MBA with an emphasis in Finance and Organizational Culture. Alisha was a recipient of Mass Transit’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2020. A graduate of APTA’s leadership program in 2022, she subsequently served as a mentor to incoming cohorts. Alisha is a dynamic and engaging trainer, facilitator, and presenter, holding multiple certifications in continuous improvement, quality, and team agility. Alisha is a certified Arbinger facilitator and played an integral role in the development and integration of UTA’s culture model, the UTA Way. She is a Shingo Alumni and was recently recognized as a Shingo Rising Star for her organizational excellence prowess. Alisha is passionate about creating an exceptional experience for UTA’s employees, their riders, and the communities they serve.
