A versatile development professional, Christine Nichols has more than 15 years of industry experience including roles in public administration, planning, design, project management and construction administration. Christine has successfully managed a wide range of project types, ranging from transportation infrastructure to luxury hospitality space.
As the Senior Development Director for Beatty Development Group, Christine manages the Amtrak funded work associated with Penn Station Partners’ redevelopment of Baltimore Penn Station and adjacent Amtrak-owned properties. This work includes restoring the exterior and making core and shell improvements to the historic headhouse as well as the design and construction of a station expansion and pedestrian walkway across the existing rail tracks.
Prior to joining Beatty Development Group, Christine was the Director of Infrastructure Planning and Construction at Tradepoint Atlantic, where she oversaw planning and construction of all infrastructure systems at the 3300-acre location in Sparrows Point, Maryland. Christine’s portfolio included all roads, management of a private water and sanitary systems, public utility coordination, bridges, bulkhead replacement at a private deep-water port, and administration of public infrastructure grants for Baltimore County.
Christine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University and is a licensed professional engineer in Maryland and Massachusetts.
