Aaron Budd is a creative thinker, pragmatic designer, and environmental champion with over two decades of architecture, planning and sustainability consulting experience. Aaron is a Principal at SvN, where he leads the firm's Regenerative Practice, which considers how architecture and urban environments can co-evolve with natural systems. Aaron brings together the firm's architects, landscape architects, planners and urban designers in a unique design process to develop zero-carbon, circular and resilient communities. His approach bridges architectural design with environmental analysis and technical knowledge to deliver climate-positive design solutions.
Aaron currently serves on the board at the Centre for the Sustainable Built Environment (CSBE) at the University of Toronto. Prior to joining SvN, he was part of a specialist sustainability group at Foster + Partners in London where he was responsible for developing environmental strategies and analysis on a number of large-scale global projects.
Aaron received his Master's of Sustainable Environmental Design from the Architecture Association in London, UK and is and accredited architect with the AIA in New York State.
