Anna Lan leads the Transit-Oriented Development program for CapMetro, which aligns transit, real estate, and policy to develop mixed-use communities alongside major bus and train routes in the Central Texas. Anna's career took root in the private sector as a transportation and environmental planning consultant in New York City. She then dedicated five years in the integrated planning and architecture team at Arup in Asia, contributing to large-scale rail projects for Hong Kong MTR and other transit authorities. Anna earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and her master’s in urban planning from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation.
