Speaker Bio
I specialize in managing the architectural and engineering design of transit structures and facilities, as well as the broader urban integration of transit corridors  - the way that the infrastructure integrates into the urban fabric of the communities that it serves. I am passionate about creating transit environments that look and feel inviting, while fostering connectivity and accessibility. What excites me most about transit projects is the complex collaboration they demand—bringing together urban planners, architects, engineers, and specialists across disciplines to achieve a shared vision.
On Edmonton’s Valley Line LRT project, I lead the facilities, structures, and urban integration scope for the City’s Owner’s Engineering team throughout preliminary design, procurement, and design and construction of the second stage of the project (a 14km corridor from Downtown to the west end of the city).
I have previously spoken about various aspects of my transit project experiences at the Canadian Institute Urban Transit Infrastructure Symposium in 2020, at the Canadian Urban Transit Association Annual Conference and Transit Show in 2023, at a Canadian Society for Civil Engineering Edmonton Chapter dinner meeting in 2024, and at MPact in 2024, among others.
