Sandra started with DIALOG as a structural engineer before pivoting to pursue her passion for transit design. Now, as a project manager in DIALOG’s emerging transit design team, she explores its potential to reshape cities, connect communities, and revitalize businesses. Sandra specializes in managing and integrating the architectural, urban, landscape, and engineering design of transportation structures, facilities, and corridors on projects such as the Valley Line West LRT in Edmonton, Alberta, and the Calgary Airport Rail Connection Study and Blue Line Northeast LRT Extension in Calgary, Alberta. Sandra is also committed to empowering young women and others who face barriers in pursing STEM education and careers. She is the Industry Chair of the WISEST Advisory Board and founded the WISEST Industry Alliance to help raise funds across Alberta’s STEM industry to support under-represented students.
