Ryan works at the intersection of transit and land use for Hennepin County where he manages a portfolio of place-based initiatives including the County’s Transit-Oriented Communities program. Ryan believes in the transformative nature of design to create places for people. His approach to planning is rooted in seeing possibilities and fostering innovation. Ryan has over fifteen years of planning experience, working at the local and regional level. His expertise spans development review, station area planning, design standards and form-based codes, and pedestrian/bicycle planning. Ryan is a member of LAI, the Mpact National Steering Committee, and board of CNU Minnesota.
