Jacob Sacks is a Project Development Lead with U.S. Department of Transportation’s Build America Bureau. He has over a decade of transportation planning and community development experience. In this capacity, he guides sponsors through the process of applying for credit assistance under the Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (TIFIA) or Railroad Rehabilitation and Improvement Financing (RRIF) programs. He leads the transit and transit-oriented development efforts within the TIFIA and RIFF loan program. He received his Bachelor’s in Environmental Planning from Rutgers University and his Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado. He resides in Washington, DC and enjoys biking to work.
