Mary Kate has been focused on transit operations and service planning for local and regional transit agencies/providers for more than 15 years. Before joining Kimley-Horn, she worked with GoTriangle in the Raleigh-Durham area and New Jersey Transit. While she focuses on mid-size transit agencies, specializing in the development of long- and short-range transit operations plans, she believes in a holistic approach to transit planning to help ensure the best possible customer experience. She has led multi-agency/multi-stakeholder, regionwide transit planning efforts that included recommendations for coordinated fare structure, policy, and technology improvements—as well as microtransit service plans. And when she isn't planning transit, she is singing K-Pop Demon Hunter karaoke with her three daughters.
