Alanna McKeeman, AICP is a transportation project manager whose work centers around providing more convenient and efficient public transportation options. Her passion is in leading effective planning processes that combine both data and qualitative input. Her expertise areas include agency strategic planning, public and stakeholder communications and engagement, and microtransit planning. Her speaking experience includes presentations at the national AMPO, APA, Mpact, TRB, and WTS-I conferences. Alanna was the lead for public and stakeholder engagement for WMATA’s multi-award-winning Better Bus Network Redesign from 2022 to 2025 and was Principal Investigator for a 2025 TCRP study on rural microtransit. She is a board member and committee chair for WTS-DC and has raised over $140,000 in scholarships for female students pursuing careers in transportation. She was recognized as a member of the Mass Transit 40 Under 40 cohort in 2024.
