Alanna McKeeman, AICP is a project manager whose work centers around providing more convenient and efficient public transportation options for all through effective planning processes that combine both data and qualitative input. Her expertise areas include agency strategic planning, microtransit planning, and public and stakeholder communications and engagement. Her speaking experience includes presentations at the AMPO, APA, Maryland ITE, MPact, TRB, and WTS-International conferences. Alanna has served as a Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP) Principal Investigator and was the lead for public and stakeholder engagement for WMATA’s Better Bus Network Redesign from 2022 to 2025. She has been a board member and committee chair for WTS-DC for the last five years – raising over $75,000 in scholarships for female students – and was recognized as a member of the Mass Transit 40 Under 40 “class” of 2024.
