Austin is a Transit Planner and Project Manager hailing from the Hoosier State. His work has reached all corners of the United States for mobility projects, passenger rail, safe/multi-modal streets, and bus rapid transit corridors (including the nation’s first battery-electric BRT corridor, the IndyGo Red Line). Throughout his career, Austin has served in a capital planning role for IndyGo, the Transportation Planning Administrator for the City of Indianapolis and Marion County, and most recently as a Project Manager for Stantec. Austin is currently leading a study in the metropolitan Indianapolis area which explores future land use pattern scenarios and leveraging transit to improve local tax revenues and efficient urban service delivery (trash, streets, water, waste, etc.).
