Austin is a Transit Planner and Project Manager hailing from the Hoosier State. His work has reached all corners of the United States for mobility projects, passenger rail, safe/multi-modal streets, and bus rapid transit corridors (including the nation’s first battery-electric BRT corridor, the IndyGo Red Line). Throughout his career, Austin has served in a capital planning role for IndyGo, the Transportation Planning Administrator for the City of Indianapolis and Marion County, and most recently as a Project Manager for Stantec. Austin serves as one of the Bus Rapid Transit practice leads for Stantec Consulting Services, applying his depth of knowledge of bus rapid transit infrastructure and operations to enhance the efficacy of buses and impact of mobility in communities big and small. 
Austin is currently leading a variety of bus rapid transit transit projects, intercity rail projects, surface mobility projects, and community development/land use studies across North America.
