Ian Carlton, co-founder of MapCraft.io, focuses on Equitable TOD policymaking, research, and implementation. Based in Portland, Oregon, Ian has worked with transit agencies, jurisdictions, federal departments, and NGOs to foster TOD. As a former real estate investor, Ian helps policymakers and stakeholders understand the complex and context-specific factors that influence real estate development, particularly Equitable TOD. He is an adjunct professor of real estate development in Oregon and a member of ULI’s National TOD Council. Ian is passionate about helping people make informed choices and fully implementing their equitable urban visions.
