Speaker Bio
Have you ever heard of a Chief Morale Officer? Me either, but instead of being discounted for being the youngest Deputy Director of a transit agency in the state of Maryland, why not have a little tongue in cheek fun? Jaime McKay is the Deputy Director of Transit Services of Frederick County, having served since June 2021. Transit Services of Frederick County is an award-winning small-urban and rural agency providing fixed route and paratransit services throughout Maryland's largest land-mass county. Transit has been recognized at the federal level for the FTA Administrator's Connecting Rural Communities Award and the 2023 Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT)'s Social Media and Marketing Award, and locally as the 2023 United Way of Frederick County Advocate of the Year.
She has been recognized as both an ACT (2016) and Mass Transit Magazine (2020) 40 Under 40 Recipient, as the Frederick County Commission for Women's Up and Coming Woman of the Year (2022), and as the WTS Baltimore Woman of the Year (2023). Jaime loves to ride her bike, works her tail off to improve conditions for her team and her riders, and has a one-eyed cat named Linus.
