Stephanie DiPetrillo is a Senior Researcher at the Alan M. Voorhees Transportation Center (VTC) and an adjunct professor at the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University. Her research explores the intersection of transportation and land use, focusing on improving transit service quality and access for all users. She investigates how transit-oriented development (TOD) and the built environment can promote public and community transportation. Her work has been supported by the Federal Transit Administration, metropolitan planning organizations, and state-level agencies. She also leads NJTOD, an online resource in partnership with NJ TRANSIT's Transit Friendly Planning (TFP) program, providing up-to-date information on creating vibrant neighborhoods around transit. Stephanie has taught at Rutgers, Hofstra University, and NJIT. She holds a BA in Economics and an MCRP from Rutgers, as well as an M.Arch from NJIT.
