Robert manage's the transit-oriented development, joint development, and planning grants portfolio of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). He also serves as FTA's liaison to the U.S. DOT Build America Bureau, where he previously worked on TOD loans for four years, and liases with HUD, EPA, FHWA, and other federal partners on planning and land use topics.
Robert is a passionate about transit, place-making, urban design, and TOD. He's an avid traveler and enjoys experiencing new cultures and learning new languages. Originally from San Diego, CA, he now lives in Arlington, VA along the well-known Orange Line TOD corridor. He's a big supporter of Metro and spends too much time submitting comments to Arlington County about roadway geometries.
